THE ULTIMATE SILENCE
October 12, 1998

Listen to the mustn'ts, child.
Listen to the don'ts.
Listen to the shouldn'ts,
The impossibles, the won'ts.
Listen to the never haves,
Then listen close to me ...
Anything can happen, child.
Anything can be.

~ Shel Silverstein

Six years ago today, Matthew Shepard was murdered for being homosexual.

What will you do to end the silence?

*Frowns*
I...
I just can't find words to describe how...
Of course I have had my share of the fights about homosexuality, but this...
It makes me just pure, plain angry when people are killed, murdered for only that what they believe on.
Just makes me mad.

It just makes me sick, and to think he's not the only one who has been killed for being homosexual... We live in a sick, sick world. People have a right to have opinions, but killing someone is too much.

And people can argue about opinions too, it's totally normal, but when it gets like this.
*Waves his fist*
God damn those *Bleep* *Bleep* *Bleep*.

Killing someone isn't a way to state one's opinion.. if only people were able to understand that.

One doesn't need to with the other if it's so.
There is room more different opinions on this planet, for Christ's sake.
Speaking of whom. It doesn't make me only angry as a human when this kind of things, but also as Christian, since most of this kind of things are made "in the name of Christianity".

Well that is true for sure, and it's quite interesting, because of certain things. Doesn't God tell not to kill?

Yes He does, thou most Christians take that as 'You shalt not kill another Christian'. Makes me even more mad.
It must have something to do with Arabian ancestors. They after all invented Allah and today every Arabian baby's first words are 'For Allah'.
Okay, just trying to take some blame of the fellow believers. Can't help it.
I am Christian also after all.

Christianity (especially Catholic church) is a scary thing as an instituation in today's world. It seems like Catholic church has decided that being close-minded is a good thing to be, and doesn't accept anything. I don't like Islam either, both religions have turned into something frightening...

Wonder if Islam was nice religion when it was founded.

I think both Christianity and Islam were quite nice religions when they were founded, but now...

It's the greed. That usually turns them into something quite twisted.

And people wonder why God haven't bothered to take contact to His children for couple decades.
And the relics of that time...
Wonder why God haven't send another flood at us.

"Give us money and you will be saved!" charming, isn't it?

Or better yet the Holy Jesus'...
Umm...
I just can't find the word. Not surprised thou, when considering the word.
Esinahka.
One mad group claimed that since Jesus was Jewish, this was removed and they had taken it.
And why haven't the God talked to us again?
