Took a bit longer to update than I originally thought...

Anyway around. I had some really 'wonderful' time in August. Yes. First I had a wisdom tooth removed. Yeah, that was all simple and everything, the whole thing took less than fifteen minutes (and was damn expensive...), but I had some trouble eating for about a week. Okay. That's not so bad, right? Well...

A couple of weeks after that I had septoplasty. If you don't know what it is, I'll give you a really brief explanation. It's the straightening of a crooked septum. Well, it was originally though that my crooked septum was caused by a problem in the cartilage. This wasn't the case, oh no, the surgeon found out that it was the bone that was crooked, not the septum. He had to remove some of the bone (sounded horrible in my ears, btw. Yes, I was awake) and after the surgery told me to take some pain meds as it would hurt afterwards. Okay, logical, but I wasn't prepared for the infernal pain that came the next day. Honestly, not only did my nose hurt, but my teeth, my cheeks and my forehead all hurt like hell. Awful, burning pain that lasted for days. That is something I never want to experience again. I also had problems with breathing, but that was to be expected. It's easier for me to breathe now that my septum is straight, but everything that happened before that was awful.

AND! Not done yet, no. Two weeks after that I had another wisdom tooth removed. This little devil had also torn my cheek quite badly. Again, simple, walked out in less then fifteen minutes. This one bled a lot, btw... So, now I've had both of my upper wisdom teeth removed, which I'm happy about.

Other news? I've been busy. Extremely busy. Haven't had any time to simply relax. Loads of schoolwork to do... Even now there are couple of assignments I need to get to doing, but I'm too tired. Maybe I'll try to do something productive later today. Now I just need to relax a bit.

*tilts head to the side* My English looks damn wonky right now... Okay, over and out.

You poor thing! I can imagine your nose op would make your cheeks and teeth hurt, as even a sinus infection makes your entire face hurt, so goodness knows what an op on the bone would do :(

I hope you can finally relax for a while.

The pain was really intense, I had to take three pain killer a day just to feel tolerable. Combined with the antibiotics, they were quite a strong dose. That led to me lying on the bed, half asleep due to being so tired and sick. The week after the surgery was just so awful... But I can breathe like normal people now =)

Sheesh. Awful, so thank goodness it corrected the problem! Hugs and cuddles!

It was misery, not something I'd like to go through again. The surgery itself wasn't so bad, it was over in half an hour, but the week after that... yeah, pain, pain, and some more pain. Was so relieved when I had had the splints removed, I could breathe and some of the pain in my nose ended. My nose was still sore a couple of weeks ago, though... Feels okay now, which is good ^^
